James Christos, The Pyrex Kidz, Greg Enemy, Dutch Newman, PL, Big Frame, Bucc$, Jamel Rockwell and more live from the Riot Room in Kansas City, MO, June 5th, 2009. Recorded direct from the soundboard, courtesy of the hardest working live sound engineer in the midwest, Corey. Thanks to the Riot Room and all the artists for making this happen. Apologies to Greg Enemy, the recording of our interview was lost, but if you heard it streaming live from Tombcast.net and JamesChristos.com you were lucky. We will have him live in studio soon.

Andrew is joined in the studio by 75% of Lawrence, Kansas indie powerpop supergroup “The Dead Girls“. Despite being without their drummer for the interview, Cameron, JoJo and Nick don’t miss a beat (or a beer). Topics discussed include film, the music business, and The Dead Girls Project, a website to share tracks of Dead Girls’ songs with the home recording community. Also joining in the show are Jamel Rockwell and Wayne, a.k.a. Mr. Bounce, a.k.a the guy that was supposed to mix a Dead Girls track for this show. Still looking for that. He must answer. The Dead Girls premier 3 tracks from the EP “Te Quiero”, as well as participate in the kind of rambling, alcohol fueled discourse you have come to expect from Tombcast. We mentioned the Lawrence record release party a few times. It was last night. Blame Mr. Bounce. Kansas City can expect to have it’s face melted off by the band on May 15 at The Brick. Join us live Thursday nights on uStream, 10:30pm CST. Write a review on iTunes, and leave us voicemail or call live at 816-399-0922.
